The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance will again control the market of pesticides and agrochemicals in Russia

22.01.2021
The Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) will again control the market of pesticides and agrochemicals in Russia. The changes came into force at the beginning of 2021. The mass death of bee colonies happened at the time of chemical sanitation of fields from pesticides that caused the Law to be published as soon as it was possible.

The updated rules came into force on January 1, 2021. The following points were changed under the new legislation:

1.    The sequence and timing of adding pesticides to the list of registered products;
2.    Recommendations that regulate the introduction and exclusion of agrochemicals and pesticides in the State register of the country.

These innovations will reduce the risk of non-professional applicants participating in the list of pesticides and agrochemicals which approved for use in Russia.
