Restrictions and changes in the operating of the agricultural sector of Ukraine due to quarantine for COVID-19.

07.04.2020

Ukrainian government has introduced a nationwide quarantine from March 12 till April 24 to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

The government has made a list of organizations of life-sustaining critical infrastructure that should continue to operate. Ukrainian office of Polgar ACRO has also been included in this list and continues to operate as usual.

The Ministry of Economic Development will advocate for the entire agro-industrial sector to operate as usual without any restrictions.

Among other things, representatives of the agro-industrial sector are asking to extend the deadline for submitting applications for state trials of pesticides and agrochemicals. A decision on this issue has not been made yet.
