Russia state toxicologists introduce new requirements for all active substances that would go or currently going through state hygienic and toxicological assessment. Every applicant must submit mutagenicity of (in vitro, in vivo, AMES) studies for each technical product – own data. No data from the literature shall be accepted, studies must be performed on particular product undergoing the registration.

It will be also possible to order those studies in Federal scientific center of Hygiene n.a. Erisman in Russia. The Institute indicated approximate future cost of the studies that shall amount to 23 600 euro. However, that is not an approved fixed fee yet.
